      Jenny Sterlin returns to narrate the fifteenth entry in the beloved Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series. Here, Russell agrees to track down the missing aunt of a close friend from her days at Oxford. Her investigation takes her into Bedlam, the insane asylum, and continues to Venice, where Mary and her husband, Holmes, engage the assistance of Broadway composer Cole Porter. Fans of the series will no doubt find this well-researched historical mystery a satisfying experience. While this listener found it necessary to adjust the listening speed in order to stay with the story, Sterlin's deliberate pace seems in tune with the author and with the times in which the story is set.
